Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Ngāti Porou Oranga provides kaupapa Māori health and social services across Te Tairāwhiti with over 280 kaimahi from Gisborne to Te Araroa.
We are seeking two dedicated Whakaora Kōti Kaiawhina to support whānau engaged with the Criminal Justice System across Te Tairāwhiti.
We have a full-time fixed term role (12 months, 40 hours per week) focusing on walking alongside whānau to ensure their voices are heard, their needs are understood, and pathways for wellbeing and whānau ora are strengthened. You’ll work closely with the Whakaora Kōti Kaiarahi, court professionals, and community partners to provide advocacy, guidance, and practical support.
