We’re looking for a Visual Storyteller to join our Communications & Marketing team. This is an entry-level role perfect for a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling, and a willingness to learn and grow.

About the Role

As our Visual Storyteller, you'll help shape how we share the mahi of our organisation across commercial, charitable, and iwi activities. You’ll create high-quality visual content that strengthens our brand, supports campaigns, and celebrates the people and stories at the heart of our kaupapa.

This role covers a variety of creative tasks including:

• Designing graphics and layouts
• Capturing photography and short-form video
• Editing content for web, social media, newsletters, print, and events
• Supporting campaigns, events, and internal communications

You'll work closely with our Communications & Marketing team to ensure all visual outputs are aligned, professional, culturally grounded, and impactful.

Who We’re Looking For

This is an entry-level role, so we don’t expect you to be an expert — just someone creative, motivated, and excited to grow.

You will bring:

• Basic skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar tools
• Some experience in photography and simple video editing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with support from senior staff
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Interest in kaupapa Māori design principles and culturally aligned storytelling
