We’re seeking a Registry & Funding Manager to lead two critical functions of our organisation — the iwi membership registry and our funding and grants programmes.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for two essential pillars of our organisation: maintaining the integrity of the iwi membership register and leading the effective, transparent delivery of funding and grant programmes that support whānau, marae, hapū, and community entities.
You will oversee the strategic and operational management of our registry and funding systems, ensuring that data is accurate, secure, and meaningful — and that all funding processes align with policy, audit requirements, and our organisational values. Your leadership will help ensure whānau receive fair and accessible support, while strengthening the foundations of our iwi data and information systems.
We’re looking for someone with strong relationship skills, sound judgement, and a strategic mindset — someone who can balance operational delivery with long-term improvement, who can confidently manage complex systems, and who is committed to culturally grounded, mana‑enhancing service for our people.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, governance, marae, funders, and community partners, providing trusted advice, high‑quality reporting, and strong programme oversight. This role sits at the heart of our commitment to growing and supporting our iwi membership while ensuring funding opportunities create meaningful impact.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys variety, values cultural alignment, and thrives in an environment where your work directly contributes to the wellbeing and future aspirations of Ngāti Porou.
