You will be part of an active team on reception providing a friendly service to our community clients, which involves data entry, organising appointment times, and communicating with our clinical staff.
This is a full-time role and we do run weekend community clinics from time to time, so there will be a need to be available for these.
The primary objective of this position is to provide high-quality clerical and front-desk support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic’s appointment system, telephone services, and reception area.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting the accurate and timely booking of appointments while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and their whānau through a warm, welcoming, and professional approach.
· Ensuring all front-end revenue is collected in accordance with enrolment protocols and correct use of the Practice Management System.
· Maintaining efficient and secure management of patient records, both electronically and in physical files.
· Contributing to the overall efficiency and positive atmosphere of the clinic by performing all duties in a proactive, organized, and client-focused manner
Required Qualifications
· Strong computer literacy and information management skills.
· Experience in clerical or reception-based customer service roles.
· Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Health & Safety
The Receptionist will behave and work in a manner compliant with current Health and Safety legislation and Ngāti Porou Oranga policies, contributing to a safe environment for whānau, staff and visitors.
