Nāti Pēpi Programme Co-ordinator

Ngāti Porou Oranga is seeking an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Nāti Pēpi Co-ordinator to join our Nāti Pēpi team based in Te Puia Hospital on a 12 month fixed term position

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:

Working closely with the General Manager – Nāti Pēpi, you will provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to our integrated Kaupapa Māori maternal and infant service. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of high-quality, whānau-centred services across the East Coast from Uawa to Potaka.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational, coordination and administration skills.
  • Has strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Has the confidence to coordinate and facilitate hui and wānanga.
  • Is comfortable working in marae settings and engaging respectfully with  whānau and hapori.
  • Has a sound understanding and appreciation of whakapapa, tikanga and Kaupapa  Māori.
  • Has the ability to interpret and work confidently with Ministry of Health funding contracts, service specifications and reporting requirements.
  • Has a high level of IT literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications and Medtech Evolution.
  • Can analyse data, prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and is able to manage competing priorities.
