Te Runaganui o Ngati Porou Elections and Board

Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou is represented by 14 elected representatives, elected every four years by adult members on the Ngati Porou register. As trustees they are accountable to the Rohenga Tipuna from which they are elected. The next elections will be held in 2019.

Toitu Ngati Porou

Toitu Ngati Porou is the cultural and wealth distribution arm of Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou. It has five board five board members appointed by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou board.   

Ngati Porou Holding Company

Ngati Porou Holding Company is the economic and wealth generation arm of Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou. There are five board members, elected by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou Board. Ngati Porou Holding Company looks after Ngati Porou Seafoods Group and Pakihiroa Farms. The Company also manages investment and property assets on behalf of Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou.

Ngati Porou Seafoods Group and Pakihiroa Farms Ltd

Ngati Porou Seafoods Group and Pakihiroa Farms are commercial subsidiaries of Ngati Porou Holding Company. They are each governed by their own boards who are appointed by Ngati Porou Holding Company.

Ngati Porou Hauora

Ngati Porou Hauora provides health services to whanau and hapu, and is governed by five board members who are appointed  by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou board.
