Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou had the privilege of welcoming Bishop Te Kitohi “Kito” Wiremu Pikaahu ONZM, Anglican Bishop of Te Tai Tokerau, alongside Anthony Wilson – Kaihautū Matua / General Manager, Tangata Whenua Strategy, Selwyn Foundation.

A significant highlight of this visit was the generous contribution made by Bishop Te Kitohi Wiremu Pikaahu, who has kindly donated $100,000 on behalf of the Selwyn Foundation to Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou.

This koha will directly support elderly whānau affected by the recent weather events along the coast, contributing to recovery efforts and helping to uplift those impacted during this time.
