Amended Trust Deed Now in Effect
As of 26 July 2026, the amended Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou Trust Deed has come into effect and is now the operative governing document of Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou.
The amendments, approved by eligible members at the Special General Meeting, ensure the Trust Deed aligns with the Trusts Act 2019, the Māori Fisheries Amendment Act 2024, and incorporates a number of governance best practice updates.
