Pakihiroa Farms Limited – a subsidiary of the Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou – leases and manages Pakihiroa, the farm on Hikurangimaunga that is owned by the Runanganui for and on behalf of all Ngati Poroupeople. Pakihiroa Farms Ltd also owns and manages two other complementary farming operations -Makarika Station, a farm at the base of Hikurangi and Puanga, a farm on the outskirts of Gisborne.
