Our business carries our tipuna name Hinerupe. We are direct descendants of her, being one of the Kopara or bell birds of Rongomaitapui her mother. 

Our business is to welcome all to her and experience an authentic marae stay. We are proud to welcome all visitors to our marae and neighbouring marae of Te Araroa. Ours is  a tourism business we are also a whanau and have all been associated with Hinerupe marae from birth. We are very proud to offer our marae as a place to manaaki manuhiri from all walks of life

Nga Taonga o Hinerupe our mission statement:

To provide an intimate authentic cultural marae experience for our manuhiri. Our business will provide opportunities for other businesses in our community to promote their products. We will ensure that our cultural experience is about manaakitanga and our core values.

Our manuhiri will be in a safe environment engaging in activities where they will enjoy our experience.

We will work to improve our image. The more that people come here and experience the Hinerupe way, it will improve current perception of our small town and encourage others to come and see our beautiful place.
