Raranga Ingoa

The Ngati Porou register is a register of Ngati Porou people maintained by the runanga.

By registering for free on the database, you are:

• acknowledging your whakapapa and connection to Ngati Porou me ona hapu
• eligible to vote in runanga elections (if you are 18 years old or over)
• able to up date yourself on Ngati Porou developments
• able to participate and contribute to the Ngati Porou Treaty settlement process and Foreshore and Seabed settlement (if you are 18 years old or over)

• able to contribute to, inform and influence the runanga to effectively plan for the future.  

Who can register?

Anyone able to trace their descent from a Tipuna, who is directly aligned and or associated with a Ngati Porou hapu is eligible to register. If you are interested in registering, please contact us on info@ngatiporou.com
