A world of unlimited possibilities awaits for Ngati Porou graduates, and ANZ bank is providing the opportunity for new grads to begin their professional careers with their organisation.

ANZ is looking for Maori students who have recently completed university or in their final year of studies, to join their 2016 Graduate programme. Please read the panui below and share with whanau members who may be interested in investigating this opportunity further.

To support our vision of a successful Aotearoa we want more Māori working for ANZ. 

We believe this will help develop the next generation of Māori business leaders and support vital sectors such as Agriculture, Fisheries, Tourism, Health and Education. 

Applications for the 2016 ANZ Graduate Program are now open until 1st May 2015 and we would really like you to encourage Māori graduates that you know to apply. 

We are looking for graduates across a wide range of disciplines.  Candidates must be in their final year of university, or have graduated within the last two years, and have achieved at least a credit result (65%) in their degree.

I am currently enrolling in my Master of Education degree while I remain at work as a Principal at Te Wharekura o Huiarau, how am I able to take advantage of your ANZ Graduate Program. I am of Tuhoe descent as well or are you strictly limiting yourselves to Ngati Porou registrations only. Look forward to your response

What a great opportunity and vision. Super excited to learn more. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) by distance as I live in Taupo. I am currently teaching in a primary school in Taupo which is very rewarding. I am of Ngati Tuwharetoa, Tr Arawa, and Tainui decent.

I am new graduate registered nurse living in Tolaga Bay. BA of Nursing degree Nov. 2014 - current Annual Praising Certificate April. 2015

Tena Koe, I am interested in this program as I am from Waikato/Tainui currently in my last year at Waikato University studying a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in Accounting. He patai taku, is this position just for Ngati Porou region or for all regions.

I am Ngati Porou, my father is from Tolaga Bay and my mother was raised in Tokomaru Bay, her father was from Waipiro Bay. I sat and passed my CSBM in 2014, in 1997 I sat and passed my Advanced Certificate in Adult Teaching and in 1998 sat and passed my Advanced Diploma in Tertiary Teaching, both these were accredited through Welltech and Massey University. I have also passed 20 Information Technology Unit Standards which are credited on the NZQA Framework. I have worked as an Accountant and Senior Posting Operator for a large finance company; as an Editor Analyst and Client Service Representative for a Market Research Company; and a Marae as an IT Tutor; and a Land Title Analyst and 2IC for an Information Technology Company; and as Administration Manager for a Maori non-government funded organisation.
