Management Accountant

Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou (TRONPnui) is seeking a chartered accountant with strong financial and corporate management experience to join its executive management team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, the Management Accountant will be based in Gisborne and will support TRONPnui’s finance and corporate services teams and functions.  The role holder will work with the managers of the Group to ensure the delivery of sound financial management, planning and performance.  S/he will also play a pivotal role in meeting TRONPnui Group’s strategy, planning, performance and reporting needs.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’  experience in analysis and financial management systems
  • A knowledge and  experience of financial modelling and reporting
  • A strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain good relationships
  • Advanced spread sheeting skills related to this role
  • Demonstrate a commitment to iwi development and to kaupapa Maori
